| Following the completion of the
first stage, 12 teams are drawn into three groups of four. They will play a round robin,
home and away with the top two teams advancing to the final round. Based on the
1998 World Cup performance, Mexico is seeded in Group C, Jamaica in D and USA in Group E.
The remaining teams enter their respective pots and are drawn into the three groups. |
